What animals are not allowed inside the City Limits?
Animals not allowed inside the city limits - shall include, but shall not be limited to, cattle, horses, mules, goats, fowl, hogs, sheep, and undomesticated animals.


Fowl shall include, but shall not be limited to, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas and pigeons.

Undomesticated animal means and includes any wild mammal, reptile or fowl which is not naturally tame but is of wild nature or disposition.

However any person may petition the governing body for a permit to keep animals otherwise prohibited by subsection (a) above and the governing body may grant such permit upon finding that the keeping of such animals will not constitute a nuisance or otherwise be detrimental to the public welfare of the city, and upon payment of an annual permit fee, as set by resolution of the governing body.
