What do I do if my power goes out?
If your power goes out, please call the Public Works Department at (785) 542-2153 and report the outage and a city employee will come and address the problem.

What do I do if my sewer backs up?
If your sewer backs up, call the Public Works Department at (785) 542-2153 and the city will send an employee to check the sewer main and inform you if the problem is in your service line or the city's main main. If the problem exists within the city's right of way, we will jet the main line.

What do I do if my power goes out?
If your power goes out, please call the Public Works Department at (785) 542-2153 and report the outage and a city employee will come and address the problem.

How do I report a pot hole in the city streets?
Call Public Works at (785) 542-2153 and the city will place the pot hole on a list to be repaired. If the pot hole is large enough the city will temporarily repair it. Typically, pot holes are not addressed until the city has received enough complaints to warrant a load of asphalt.
