Responsibilities
The City of Eudora Utility Department is responsible for establishing new city utility services for customers, processing city utility bills and payments, and answering any questions about City of Eudora utility services.
On Your Monthly Bill
Water
Water meters are read during the first two weeks of every month. The meter reader must have access to your water meter. If you have a gate that would prevent the meter readers from reading your meter, you must provide the City with a key to allow access to the meter.
Storm Water Management Fund
The City of Eudora charges a flat fee on all bills. This fee helps meet new and existing stormwater requirements by providing revenue to assist in the management of projects, programs, and services associated with the City’s stormwater management system.
Sewer/Wastewater
Sewer rates are calculated annually and are based on your household’s average water usage between December and February.
Electric
Electric meters are read during the first two weeks of every month. The meter reader must have access to your electric meter. If you have a gate that would prevent the meter readers from reading your meter, you must provide the City with a key to allow access to the meter.
Trash and Recycling
Trash and recycling services are handled by Honey Creek Disposal. Senior Citizens over the age of 65 are eligible for a discount on trash service. For more information, please visit the Honey Creek Disposal website.
