Municipal Court

Responsibilities

The Eudora Municipal Court is presided over by Judge Randy McCalla. The municipal judge has exclusive jurisdiction over all criminal violations of ordinances within the City of Eudora. Municipal court is held the first Wednesday morning of each month at 8:30am and the third Wednesday evening of each month at 6:00pm. Court convenes in the Eudora Public Safety Building located at 930 Main Street.

Functions

The Eudora Municipal Court handles alleged violations of city ordinances and alleged traffic and misdemeanor violations. The court handles records management of all court cases, collections of fines, and forfeitures.

The Municipal Court accepts cash, check, money order, and credit card payments.

Court Guidelines

When appearing for court, please acknowledge the following guidelines:

  • Be on time
  • Be respectful
  • Check in with the Municipal Court clerk’s office prior to entering the courtroom
  • Dress appropriately
  • No gum is allowed in the courtroom
  • No hats are to be worn in the courtroom
  • Turn off cell phones
