The Office of Building, Planning and Zoning in the City of Eudora enforces codes related to environmental standards and to the construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings and structures; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager and City Commission.
All inspection services are coordinated through the Office of Building, Planning and Zoning which includes plan reviews for new construction and all remodeling projects. The Office of Building, Planning and Zoning makes a record of complaints and assigns a Code Enforcer to respond to the complaints. The Code Enforcer investigates the complaint and reports the findings back to the Codes Administrator. Code enforcement can range from overgrown grass and weeds, building assessment, and the licensing of contractors.
The Office of Building, Planning and Zoning will take any code violation seriously and work to come to a resolution that will be in the best interest of the party’s involved.
