Moving In to Eudora

As a new resident, we hope this guide will assist you in getting settled in your new home. Thank you for choosing Eudora as your place to grow.

Utilities

Click here to apply for services, including trash and recycling, electricity, water, wastewater, and storm water.

Once your utility account is set up with the City, set up an online account to pay online, monitor your usage and bills, and sign up for automatic payments through your credit card. You can also sign up for automatic payments through your checking account and submit it to the Utility Billing office at 4 E. 7th St. or via email.

Once you have had services for a year or more, setting up Level Pay may be a good option for your household. Calculated from the previous year’s average usage, Level Pay will make each monthly payment the same amount, allowing a predictable bill from month to month.

For more information about your utilities, such as bill cycles, policies, and assistance resources, visit the Utility Billing page.

Schools

The Eudora School District (USD no. 491) is home to six schools, providing "large-district opportunities in a small-district atmosphere."  More information about the School District is available on the Kansas State Department of Education website, including the district's ranking and report card.

Parks & Recreation

We are proud to host dozens of acres of park space and many recreation activities for all ages. Whether you choose to get active by playing pickleball next to Lucy Kaegi Park, playing disc golf at Bluejacket Park, or working out at the Eudora Community Center, there is something for all ages. Register for sports and activities online or at the Eudora Community Center. While you're there, you can sign up for a membership to both the Community Center and the Eudora Aquatic Center (open seasonally).
