New Residential Permit Procedure
Before constructing a new residential building, a permit must be obtained, which is acquired by completing a four-step plan:
- Step One: Obtain and complete permit application.
- Step Two: Submit two sets of professional engineered or architectural stamped blue prints, and stamped plot plan by a Kansas licensed surveyor. (Requirements for plot plan)
- Step Three: Plan review and approval of permit application.
- Step Four: Building permit issued. Submit payment for building permit fees. The building permit fee is based on building valuation, the total value of work, including material and labor.
Once a permit is obtained, the applicant must undergo required inspections, meet current building codes for the City of Eudora, and agree on associated development costs. For complete instructions for this process, please refer to the to the
