IMG_20180502_124840675_HDRThe City of Eudora is requesting responses to its Request for Proposal (RFP) to develop the City's old public safety building at 840 Main Street.  The building was used to house the City's police and fire departments until 2012. The quarter acre site is tucked inside of the historic downtown.  A 4,320 square foot building currently sits on this site with a high volume of daily vehicle traffic. Proposals should capitalize on the current renaissance occurring in the area with nearby buildings being purchased and revitalized.

  1. 2018 Streets Program Map with title and key
    The 2018 streets maintenance program is well underway. Crews have already begun performing crack seal treatments in some neighborhoods and milling and overlaying will begin on June 4th. Residents whose access to their homes might be impacted by the progress will receive notification prior to work beginning. 

    The notification to residents from O'Donnell and Sons Construction, which is performing the mill & overlay work on the east side of town, is available here.

    The magnitude of this year's work is made possible by the four mill increase approved by the Eudora City Commission in 2016. The revenue generated by that increase in property tax has been applied to the City's Capital Improvement Plan, which can be viewed here

    Six yellow bicycles are now available through the Parks and Recreation Department's Bike Share Program, thanks to funding from the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Association. Bikes are free to ride for short-term use. Grab your helmet and pick one up at the Community Center or at the Eudora Public Library!
